Offline Syncing Between Linux and Android

Hi, I'm aware of options like Google Play Books and Bookfusion that let users upload ebook files which then sync when clients on Android and Linux access them, but I would like the syncing to be able to occur offline. A couple models that would work for this would be: Android access via a web server similar to Calibre's web server, but with more robust offline reading options on Android (e.g. don't require the browser tab with the book to remain open)Annotations being stored independently on the two devices, then synced through something like Syncthing. I don't think this would be hard to implement if the annotations were stored in plaintext outside the original file in the same format. Are there currently any options that support either of these? The latter options seems like it would be especially great to me if it was possible. Thanks! via /r/ebooks https://ift.tt/cnrNFWB
