Google Play Book .doc files not overwriting in Google Drive

Google Play Book has this nifty feature which automatically syncs and collates comments and highlights made on an ebook to a google docs in your GDrive. Recently however, every time I highlight a sentence or add notes to a phrase, it creates another google docs file in the Gdrive folder instead of overwriting the existing one. I'm not sure what could be causing this, as it's never happened before until quite recent. And so I turn to you, fellow ebook readers versed in using Play Books' platform, to ask for guidance on how to troubleshoot. Thank you in advance for any help! Attached is an example of new files being made instead of old ones simply being overwritten. It was *much* worse before I took to manually decluttering the folder.https://ift.tt/EeIgxMW via /r/ebooks https://ift.tt/lm3UD0C
