Hello!I've been recently trying to find the right Android epub reader for my workflow and found it surprising that even after trying so many (I've lost count), there still isn't one that I find satisfying.I don't think I need much. All I need is:The ability to highlight text in various colours (4 is enough). The ability to attach a note to those highlights. The ability to export those notes and highlights as a txt/md file preferrably, but I don't mind an html/pdf file. The ability to synchronise reading progress, notes and highlights between devices, with no subscription required.Along the features that seem to be standard in every reader, like text customisation (font, size, alignment, margins, etc.) and a sepia theme, of course. Bonus points if I can customise the theme colours and can backup/export everything locally. Bonus bonus points if it's open source. So far, among all the apps I've tried:Lithium almost gets everything right, but its (Google Drive powered) sync seems inconsistent (not all books are synced even when the files on both devices are the exact same).PocketReader does have everything I need, but its highlighting and note-taking UX is just terrible.Google Play Books also does everything, but I don't like that their store is an important part of the app. I would rather have something that just reads local EPUB files. Its customisation options are also a bit lacking.KOReader is pretty good (open source!), but I don't use an e-ink device so its UI and UX aren't really that well suited for me. Its dealbreakers for me are no sepia theme + no coloured highlights (just different styles) + its built-in keyboard (which you must use to take notes) is pretty barebones.Does anyone know of any other options I could try? via /r/ebooks https://ift.tt/glbosv4
