I was looking at an ebook trilogy on Apple’s Books app, and when I bought the first book each book in the series was priced at $3.99. I finish reading the first book and return to buy the second and the second is priced at $7.99. I’m wondering if it’s a coincidence of timing or if Apple has some dynamic pricing scheme (i.e., if I bought the first book in a trilogy I’m more likely to buy the next two, so they can safely raise the price). Wondering if anyone has any insight into this. Not that I won’t buy the book either way, but just curious if I’m unlucky or if Apple is taking me for a ride. via /r/ebooks https://ift.tt/zUhsmKO
